Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a form of therapy that focuses on emotions as the driving force in our lives. This form of treatment has now become an internationally known form of therapy, especially for couples. EFT brings together various perspectives: attachment theory, the systemic or interpersonal perspective and the experiential or intrapersonal perspective. An EFT treatment not only looks at the communication and behavior patterns between partners, but also at what the mutual connection and accessibility looks like. EFT has a strong positive effect on the bond in a partner relationship. EFT is effective for various couples, also for psychological or physical complaints.
